Bush's Trip To Latin America Called Success,
Collects 14,724 Fresh Souls By Lee Camp
GUATEMALA CITY President Bush's first trip to Latin America other than Mexico is being called a huge success by the White House.
Even though Bush was met by rabid protests everywhere he visited, White House Press Secretary Tony Snow said the true test of a successful diplomatic trip is how many souls the President collects for his master Vice President Cheney.
Bush reported that he gathered an impressive 14,724 souls during the visits. That compares to a mere 2,312 the last time he was in Iraq, and 6,662 the last time Cheney went abroad.
Snow stated that it's not fair to compare Bush's numbers to Cheney's because Cheney "is indeed the master and has been at this game much longer than his apprentice."
