Mum's kitchen™ launches new diet meal range

Mum’s Kitchen™ today presented its new Diet Meal™ range.
The company which specializes in “The kind of food your mom used to make” claims that they have sifted through thousands of recipes in their efforts to recreate Thirty-Something’s childhood dinner experiences.
“The fact of the matter is that our moms, who were born in the thirties and forties learnt to cook in the fifties and sixties… It was an exciting time and overseas influences such as Italian and French cuisine were only just pushing across national boundaries whilst many of the authentic ingredients weren’t available…"
"Creating a genuine childhood experience requires understanding the whole culinary and economic culture of the time."

Though the “Diet Meal” range is neither low fat nor low calorie, concepts that have dominated health issues only recently, Mum’s Kitchen claims that customers will still lose weight by eating their food.
“People in the sixties and seventies weren’t as fat as they are today… the main reason is quite simply that despite the tricks memory can play, Mom’s cooking just wasn’t that good so people didn’t very much.”
