US & Israeli Propaganda Conflict By Lee Camp Propaganda put out by the United States conflicted with that put out by Israel last week. According to anonymous sources it is causing quite a bit of discord between the two governments.
Israel is claiming that Israeli Special Forces took out Abu Mohammed Zahaq, a high-ranking member of Al Qaeda, when he came to the West Bank to meet with Palestinian contacts Thursday. The United States claims their military killed Zahaq in an air strike in Iraq on Friday. In reality Zahaq choked to death on a lamb bone two weeks ago in Syria.
Sources in Jerusalem say the Israeli government is sick of letting the U.S. propaganda pre-empt Israeli propaganda on every occasion. The source stated, "We have perfectly good lies. American propaganda is always ridiculous. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi died in an air strike and yet his body and face are completely intact?? Come on! Who's going to buy that? We have much better stuff. Look at what a great job we did with Prime Minister Sharon going into a coma. Everyone believed that!"
