Bush Reveals His Iraq Exit Strategy
By Alan Lord

WASHINGTON -- President Bush said today he would settle for "nothing less than complete victory" in Iraq, and that it was a great challenge the US simply would have to face. He called on all Americans to prepare themselves for the long haul and muster the will to carry that extra burden alone. Especially because effective midnight on December 31st, George W. Bush will be stepping down from The Presidency.

"Yep. I’m outta here!" he smirked to the assembled press, "so y’all go on and see if you can do a better job than I did. That’s my exit strategy, now you go find yours."

President Bush is already looking forward to his future life as ex-president and has hired famed architect Santiago Calatrava to plan his George W. Bush presidential library which it is rumoured will contain a near-infinite number of copies of the only book the president has ever read - My Pet Goat.
