Cheney Observes Hussein - Learns How To Delay Trial
By Lee Camp
WASHINGTON Anonymous White House sources have revealed that Vice President Cheney has been watching Sadam Hussein's trial closely to learn how to delay any future courtroom proceedings. Cheney's former Chief of Staff Scooter Libby was indicted for perjury this month, and Cheney will be forced to testify at the trial, perhaps implicating himself in the scandal. Sources say the V.P. has therefore been looking for a way to ruin or prolong Libby's trial, and he has found the solution from his old friend and colleague Sadam Hussein, former arms customer of the U.S. turned evil enemy.
Hussein, whose trial has already gone on for months with little progress, has displayed antics that include firing his lawyers, blurting out tirades in court, insulting the judge, and at times refusing to speak. Just this week Hussein was punched in face after yelling ethnic slurs at courtroom workers. Also, several of Hussein's defense lawyers have been murdered and some believe Hussein arranged it himself.
A White House source says Cheney watches the trial all day long muttering, "Brilliant" or "Good move old man."
