Sex & Coke In Future Independent Quebec
By Alan Lord

MONTREAL - The separatist Parti Quebecois this week elected a new leader - André
Boisclair, a gay former minister.

Unscathed by criticism of his past cocaine use while minister, Boisclair is putting sex, drugs and independence squarely on the political agenda in the hope that it will sweep him to power.
"We want a referendum on the sovereignty of Quebec," Boisclair told reporters nervously rubbing his nose.
"Quebec has been tied to Canada and the British colonial past for too long. It’s time for a new generation of queen and that queen is I. "
“I’ll be much more fun than Lizzy, " he promised. " Gay weddings for all, coke-fueled reception-cum-orgies, all held at taxpayers’ expense of course, what do you say?”

Sources say the flamboyant future Queen of Quebekistan is already drawing up architectural plans for his Nouveau Versailles palace. Elton John has offered to drop his Las Vegas commitments in order to play at Boisclair’s coronation and George Michael has said he’ll be happy to sing, but Boisclair has other ideas. "I don’t want these colonialist oppressors, I want French," he insists. " I want Gaullois queens and only Gaullois queens. "
The search is now on for an openly gay French celebrity for Boisclair to party with.
