Louisiana Superdome Finally Used For Winning Cause By Lee Camp New Orleans The Louisiana Superdome was finally used for a winning cause this week as it housed approximately 20,000 Hurricane Katrina survivors.
This is the only good thing to happen at the Dome in years. The New Orleans Saints are one of only eight NFL teams to have failed to make the playoffs for the past four years, and this has made the Superdome home to a long stretch of lost causes.
With the Saints starting out the 2005 preseason with a 1-3 record, perhaps the Superdome should cherish the fact that at least this week it's being used to decrease the pain and suffering in New Orleans.
