FLNC claims responsibility for French Tax office bombs

Corsican separatists within the FLNC today claimed responsibility for the bomb attacks last week on the Tax office in Nice, which injured 16 people.
Following last weeks national vote in which the people of Corsica democratically rejected the idea of increased autonomy from mainland France the FLNC says the time is now perfect for increased autonomy from mainland France.
"We know what Corsica needs" a spokesman told BIGfib. "It needs complete separation from mainland France... Whether Corsicans want it or not."
The spokesman who for obvious reasons cannot be named told BIGfib "Look, we've studied similar situations the world over... and blowing up innocent people is quite obviously the answer. It's worked for the IRA in Ireland, it's done wonders for the Palestinians, and I'm sure it's just the thing to convince anyone in Corsica who was wavering that we are the people they need to run the country."
Asked why they had chosen the tax office the spokesman replied "It's a useful symbol of the 1,800 million euros the French tax payer pays in subsidies to Corsica every year, money that we can well do without...
We believe that even if we can't end rule from Paris hopefully, by disrupting the collection of taxes, we can at least stem the tide of money they keep throwing at us."
