 Tony Blair Says Bombings Not Connected To Iraq War

Tony Blair, the UK PM yesterday insisted that the terrorist attacks which killed over 50 last week in London were in no way related to his country’s participation in the invasion of Iraq.
“To say that these horrifying deaths are in any way connected to the tens of thousands of horrifying deaths in Iraq is utter rubbish,” he told reporters, in his trademark blunt style.
“The terrorists may claim that they are avenging Arab deaths in Iraq, but the truth is, and everyone knows this, that they would have done exactly the same thing, irrespective of whether we had chosen to invade Iraq or some other Arab country like Iran, Palestine or Afghanistan… Oh, we already did them? Well, another one then.”
"The war on Tehran must go on until every single one of these evil people has been dealt with. Sorry, I did, of course mean the war on terror !"
