Blair Re-Elected, Americans Still Undecided On Whether To Care
By Lee Camp Although Tony Blair was re-elected as Prime Minister of England a week ago, the verdict is still out on whether Americans care or not.
While some Americans who were questioned say they are quite distraught about the re-election of Blair, a whopping 73% responded to the question with, "Who's Tony Blair? …Didn't he play drums for Pink Floyd?"
Twelve percent of those polled also didn't know that England "has a different President than us."
Of those who knew who Blair was, many said they hoped Blair would no longer agree with everything President Bush did, although some simply hoped Blair would not make out with President Bush on live television.
