Howard in 60 Billion Pound Vote-Rigging Scandal
By Lolo Laroche in Washington

Critics yesterday claimed that UK opposition leader Michael Howard’s proposed tax cuts of 60 Billion pounds amounted to nothing more nor less than an attempt at vote rigging.

A Westminster insider told BIGfib, “Howard arrived at the 60 Billion figure by simply working out how much it would cost to give 100 quid to every man or woman in the country”.

Michael Howard, however robustly denied the claims, saying, “The idea that we would give every taxpayer 100 pounds if they vote for us is absurd.”

“Firstly we would only be able to give it if we win - which is very unlikely - and secondly, even if we did win, we would obviously have to give far more to the rich and a lot less to the poor. It’s what people expect of the Conservatives.”
