Insurance Industry Announces Its Own Brand Of Good News.
The insurance industry, which suffered multi-billion payouts after the hurricanes of 2004 in United States, the Caribbean and Japan announced a happier start to 2005 for its shareholders.
Fears that the Asian Tsunami would make 2005 an even harder year than 2004 have been overstated the industry says and shareholders can start to celebrate.
Initial analysts reports from the disaster region show that the disaster, which has so far caused 150,000 deaths could have little impact on the industry.
Luckily weve got off lightly, spokesman Ivor Noheart told BIGfib, It turns out that the Tsunami is nowhere near as bad as predicted as virtually none of the families or businesses affected had life or property insurance, and the possessions of those that did - shacks and basic living equipment, were already virtually worthless.
