Condoleezza Rice "in line" To Replace Colin Powell
By Lolo Laroche
Rice's nomination could be announced as early as Tuesday.
It would be a historic move: Rice, who turned 50 on Sunday, would be the first black woman, and only the second woman ever, tapped to be the nation's top diplomat.
A modern-day renaissance woman who traded the stately halls of Stanford University for the political swirl of Washington, Rice became one of Bush's most trusted wartime advisers.

However, a senior administration official told BIGfib that the choice of hawkish Condoleezza Rice is by no means a given.

"The president has drawn up a prioritized list of people he's heard of and who he thinks would be perfect to lead America's foreign policy, but he's not sure if all of those on the list are available and some may of course refuse the post".
Independant sources close to the president have exclusively revealed to BIGfib that the list contains a number of controversial names such as Paul Wolfowitz, Ghengis Khan, Joseph Goebbels, Sadam Hussein, and Augustus Pinochet as well as Condoleeza Rice..
