Making Sense of The Taser Market Jitters
By Alan Lord

The latest electrifying news about the increased controversy surrounding Taser International Inc. involving collateral deaths has sent a jolt throughout the non-lethal weapons market, leaving the amateur investor in a tailspin tizzy.

The industry buzz over the shocking revelations reporting increased “customer” deaths as the result of either over-use or misuse of Tasers however, is not being felt as a bolt from the blue for most knowledgeable investors.

Although short term losses may seem like a debilitating body-blow to the small investor, staying the course will not hurt in the long run. In fact, once the current wave of controversy subsides, it is expected that high-powered sales will again be stimulated, energizing what for now appears to be a momentarily unsteady market reeling from the high-voltage shenanigans of wayward police departments nation-wide.

After being burnt once, we may even have to eventually pinch the nerves of the Taser industry to get going again, jump-starting it from scratch.
