WMD Secrets behind Britain's Mars Probe - exclusive.
BIGfib can reveal today the secret reasons for the surprise announcement of Britain's space probe to the planet Mars.
Secret documents leaked to BIGfib by authoritative sources indicate that the surprise move is in fact prompted by intelligence reports that Iraq's missing weapons of mass destruction have been hidden on the planet.
Ex cabinet minister Claire Short claimed yesterday however that the leak was "Organised" and that the operation is "merely an expensive whitewash to cover up the governments failure in finding WMD."
"They're just hoping that by December when they fail to find anything even on Mars, no-one will care anymore." Short told BIGfib.
Jack Straw, UK foreign secretary, contacted by BIGfib predictably refuted Short's claims.
"I cannot confirm the Intelligence report you have seen." Straw said yesterday. "However we do have new intelligence information that Iraq was in fact much more technologically advanced than previously thought and may have been operating, in association with Osama Bin Laden, regular shuttle services to Mars.
Claire Short won't have seen that information as she's no longer in the cabinet and as I said unfortunately we cant release it at this time for operational reasons "
The UK probe, to be launched in June 2003 as part of the European Space Agency mission, will arrive on Mars in December.
"Trust us." Straw told BIGfib yesterday. "Once the probe gets there I think it will all become clear."
