Prozac in water may explain political drift: New study

A new study by the United Kingdom Association of Independent Clinicians (UKAIC) yesterday claimed to have identified a possible reason for the long known drift to the right of UK governments.
The House of Commons water supply has been found to contain high levels of Venuflaxin (Prozac), and the report claims, constant and repeated consumption may be changing the way politicians think.

“It’s been long known that governments drift to the right as soon as they’re in power,” Thierry Doorma told BIGfib. “Whether we are talking about the Thatcher government wobbling on the edges of neo-fascism after 15 years in office, or the equally disturbing sight of the current supposedly Labour government supporting the Republicans, taking the country to war, supporting the nuclear lobby and legislating in favour of vivisectionists it’s clear that there is a common element at work.”

So could the element in question really be Prozac in the water ?
“So far it’s only a hypothesis, certainly something is happening and certainly everyone in the House is consuming large quantities of Prozac simply by drinking cups of tea. The effects of taking low level Prozac for many years are unknown.”
In order to solve the mystery once and for all, UKAIC goes on to suggest double-blind placebo trials providing half of the government with bottled Evian water and the other half with standard issue UK Prozac laced tap water.
