Bush Promises Equal freedoms for all citizens of the world
George W. Bush announced plans to provide equal civil liberties to more citizens of the world than ever before if returned to power in November.
The plans include for the first time in the history of the USA an original two pronged attack on the problems involved in providing equal rights for all.
The new two step process includes both increasing the rights of those living outside the US in countries such as Syria and Iran through military means, along with simultaneous reductions in the civil liberties enjoyed by US citizens in areas such as freedom of expression, privacy and freedom of association.
Republican strategists claim that only by reducing civil liberties at home whilst increasing them overseas can the goals of equal rights for all be met.
