BRIP to challenge UKIP in South East England.
Following the latest anti-globalisation trend, the UK BRIP party yesterday announced that they would challenge UKIP in West Sussex.
UKIP, the UK independence party, who performed well in the recent European elections fighting on a program of Britain withdrawing from Europe was quick to rubbish the BRIP program.
“The Bognor Regis Independence Party’s policy of independence and self government for Bognor is quite clearly stupid.” Spokesman Robert Kilroy-Silk told BIGfib.
“We live in an interconnected and independent world today, and even if Bognor was briefly independent during medieval times it is ridiculous to imagine that it could survive alone in today’s world. It would be like suggesting that Texas can live without being in the USA or that the UK can live without being part of… It would be like suggesting that Texas can live without being part of the USA.”
