Bush says Iraq can act as acorn of change in the Middle East
President Bush yesterday told the G8 meeting that Iraq can act as an acorn allowing change to spread throughout the Middle East.
Bush is anxious to press his case that Iraq can prompt wider change in the Middle East and the United States has made an initiative to promote reform in the region a centrepiece of the Sea Island summit.
The evil torturing Arab dictators of Iraq are a thing of the past, the President told those assembled.
now they have torturing raping allied troops instead.
He then appealed to the G8 countries for increased support.
If it can bring around such radical change in Iraq, we can do it throughout the Middle East, but we need your help.
