Microsoft sacks entire Windows development team

Shaken by last weeks devastating attack on the Windows operating system by an 18 year old schoolboy in Germany, Microsoft yesterday announced that it was replacing its entire development team of 2600 programmers.

Commenting the announcement, Bill Gates, Microsoft’s founder told BIGfib, “Microsoft’s greatest strength has always been, erh, thinking differently, and we realized we had to do something. For the last few years we’ve been throwing more and more people and money at Windows trying to fix all the bugs, but it’s just been getting worse and worse… Today’s announcement is proof that we’ve woken up to what’s really happening, that we’ve listened to our users concerns and that we’ve decided to think outside the box and attack the problem differently.”

Independent analysts commended the decision to replace the 2600 programming team with an 11 year old Belgian schoolboy with no grasp of English and little knowledge in computer programming.
“Today’s move can only improve the reliability and security of the Windows operating system,” security specialist Brian Oring told BIGfib.
“If a non English speaking German schoolboy can bring down half of the world’s Windows PC’s then an 11 year old Belgian is just the right guy to rewrite Windows.”
