Mac users tremble as virus proof hits tens of machines
Apple Macintosh users were yesterday trembling as proof of the first ever virus to affect the companies OS X operating system was discovered.

Entirely immune to viruses for many years and constantly bemused by the hundreds of security updates, the thousands of viruses attacking their colleagues PCs, and the billions of hours lost fighting an unstable, unreliable and unsafe operating system, Mac users yesterday ceased to smile smugly and began to tremble instead as confirmation spread that the worlds first OS X virus proof now exists.
Many Mac users were feeling particularly smug when news of the Sacer virus infecting many tens of millions of PCs hit the news last week, but now theyre feeling sheepish instead; security expert Brian Oring told BIGfib.
Many tens of Mac users email boxes now contain messages talking about MP3Concept which though not actually a virus, is proof that a security flaw has been found in OS X which would in theory enable a virus to be written.
Apple issued a security update to remove the flaw some weeks ago, but most Apple users were trembling too severely to click on the Install button.
