Blair to create US-Style everything.
UK Prime Minister Tony Blair yesterday announced to the House of Commons his government’s intentions for the critical run-up to the next election.
He reiterated his intentions to create a US-style supreme court to replace the current high court, US-style city mayors to replace the current local government infrastructure, an US-style drug Czar to head up customs and excise anti-drug traffic operations.
Answering questions from the opposition, he said that the rumoured creation of a US-style FBI agency would probably have to wait until after the US-style elections in 2005.
This is taken to mean that though he anticipates being defeated at the ballot box by popular vote he intends to cheat and pull strings in order to remain Prime Minister.
