Bush supports Schwarzenegger election simplifying bill

President Bush yesterday said he supported a bill put forward by the Californian Govornor Arnold Schwarzenegger to simplify the electoral process.
“The system was too complicated last time around, everyone agrees on that.” Bush told CNN news.
“We’ve had an independent review of the electoral process and we’ve come up with a way of making the whole thing much easier, especially for old people in Florida with fat arthritic fingers.”
The “Ez-Poll” Bill suggests replacing the punch card voting system with a nationwide Fund Count.
“The idea hiss Very zimple.” Schwarzenegger explained yesterday on breakfast television.
“Ve vill not be needink to ask ze peepol to be votink hany more. Vee vill just count up ze dollars zat zey haf gifen to ze helection funds… Ze party wif ze most monee vins.”

Independent political analysts say that because US election results are entirely related to the success of each candidate's political fund raising results, the new proposals would seem to be entirely constitutional and pragmatic.
CNN’s independent election specialist Barbara Bush told BIGfib: “I think scrapping elections and having a money count is a great idea. It would mean that we wouldn’t actually even have to spend the campaign funds on advertising… The winning candidate could just keep it as a sort of winners prize.”
