Players stay in fight to lose against Bush.

Gen. Wesley K. Clark, Senator John Edwards and Howard Dean all indicated that they are still in the fight for the coveted position of loser at the next presidential election.
Howard Dean announced that he will stay in the nominating battle even if he loses next Tuesday, a stance he acknowledged an "obvious contradiction" to the vow he made last week.
Though it is widely acknowledged that Bush will be named the winner in November, whoever wins the Democrat primaries and no matter how many Americans vote against him, the race to be the winning loser remains hotly contested.
“The pressure is on.” Dean told reporters. “You can’t fight the Amercian electoral system, but you can fight the good fight. We all want to be the next one to win the votes and lose the election.”
