In concessions to world public opinion Israel yesterday revealed that it would alter the location of it’s separating wall to ease the burden on Palestinians.
The barrier, an elaborate complex of razor wire fence, ditches and a towering 24ft wall was intended to stretch for 430 miles separating the West Bank’s Palestinian population from Israelis.
However a spokesman for Mr Sharon indicated yesterday that moves were underway to change the location of the barrier.
Independent analysts indicate that in line with world opinion and opinion polls the most popular location and thus the most likely place for the wall to be built would now appear to be around George Bush’s Texas ranch.
