Blair acknowledges that WMD will remain a mystery
Tony Blair yesterday conceded that WMD in Iraq will probably remain a mystery until the end of his mandate.
“It is extremely likely that the embarrassing information revealing WMD will be released only when a change of government in the UK occurs.”
The announcement that “Revealing WMD would be political suicide.” initially shocked journalists as it seemed to contradict the UK premiers own claim that WMD would still be found, however, a later press release by 10 Downing Street cleared up the mystery by explaining that he was not referring to Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq but rather Why Men Died in Iraq.
