Bush denies planning Iraq war despite having planned Iraq war.

President Bush yesterday admitted that leaked papers from February 2001 entitled “Political Military Plan for Post Saddam Iraq Crisis” do indeed indicate that the Iraq war was planned as early as two weeks before he entered the White House, but denied that this in any way proves that the Iraq war was planned as early as two weeks before he entered the White House.
“Well the papers are true and what people say they mean isn’t.”
He told CNN.
“We did have papers about planning the eventuality of a post Saddam Crisis, but it’s perfectly possible to do that without planning to get rid of Saddam.”
“It’s like picking up a kitchen catalogue. It’s not the same thing as actually planning to buy a kitchen.”
