Expert not impressed by North Korea nukes,
Bush not impressed by expert.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A top American nuclear expert has told a U.S. Senate committee that North Koreans showed him a piece of radioactive metal in a glass jar when he visited that country but that he was in no way convinced that they have any weapons of mass destruction.

Commenting the expert’s comments the US president told journalists that “no matter what the experts say about there being WMD or not, we will act on my own personal opinion of whether they do or don’t or maybe do have whatever I think they’re having.”
When questioned by journalists President Bush said that this latest evidence “certainly” meant that that military intervention was “real close, maybe even closer than ever."
