Gillingham says claims are "fucking outrageous"

Andrew Gillingham the BBC journalist criticised in a controversial programme screened last night by his own channel, said that claims that he had used “loose language” were untrue.
Gilligan told the Times: "To say that I use loose language is fucking outrageous. I am bloody fucking bollocking annoyed that John Ware has said this about me without even putting it to me first. I have fucking built my sodding reputation on the fucking surgical precision of my language."

He went on to rubbish Ware's claim that he had been "hauled over the coals" by Mr Sambrook, but admitted he had been criticised in one meeting.
"It was a meeting to say how I had done in Iraq and I was criticised. In no sense could that be described as a hauling over the coals. Now that’s crappy use of language."
