New face-saving hope for Jackson
New hope was revealed yesterday for the fallen star Michael Jackson as surgeons announced that full facial transplants were now possible for the first time.
Though advising surgeons against performing them until in depth studies have been done on the psychological implications, the British Medical Association (BMA) did admit that there is no longer "any practical reason that such an operation could not be carried out."
Interviewed by BIGfib Ursula Gly however admitted that the advantages for stars such as Michael Jackson could outweigh the costs.
"Any risks that the result might look strange certainly wouldn't be of importance to someone like Jackson" Gly told BIGfib, "and where for many it would be a trauma to wake up looking like someone else, for Jackson waking up looking like someone who hasn't had twenty years or continuous reconstructive surgery and who isn't a child molester and could only be a relief."
